All three of the Voltron Forces (I - Vehicle, II - Gladiator and III - Lion) must unite to battle the latest weapon harnessed by the Drule Empire's three emperors (Zeppo, Az'A and Zarkon) - a dense-gravity rogue planetoid capable of ripping apart the innocent worlds in the Galaxy Alliance.

Aside from characters introduced in the previous three movies to be expounded on, new faces here will be expounded on in future installments.

1) SHAY OF BALMERA ♀ - Species: Balmeran. Homeworld: Balmera. Eye Color: Yellow. Hair Color: Brown. Shay is a young Balmeran slave of the Drule Empire's Denubian Galaxy faction under King Zarkon, Shay and her family were forced to help mine useful crystals from the creature called the Balmera, even as it began to die from over-exploitation. She and her brother Rax will encounter Hunk and Coran when they arrive to acquire a battleship crystal to trail after the Omega Comet, and while Rax is cautious about them, she will in time decide to help the strangers. Her people's world, the eponymous Balmera creature, is one of those worlds threatened by the Omega Comet under the Drule Empire's rule.

2) VEHICLE VOLTRON FORCE - Consisting of the Air-Strato Fighter Team (Jeff #1, Rocky #2, Wolo #3, Chip #4 and Ginger #5), the Sea-Aqua Fighter Team (Krik #6, Lisa #7, Tangor #8, Shannon #9 and Zandee #10) and the Land-Turbo Terrain Fighter Team (Cliff #11, Cinda #12, Modok #13, Marvin #14 and Hutch #15); the Vehicle Voltron Force is stationed aboard the Galaxy Alliance Starship Explorer/Rugger Guard on a mission to chart the Milky Way Galaxy and find new planets for people to live on. They are the first to report the Omega Comet exiting the Denubian Galaxy for the open space between galaxies. They are tasked with trailing the Comet and await Gladiator and Lion Voltrons' aid.

3) RYNER OF OLKARION ♀ - Species: Olkari. Homeworld: Olkarion. Eye Color: Green. Hair Color: Beige. A species of insect-like humanoids known for their extraordinary engineering skills, which are so advanced that it appears to be magic; Ryner is the leader of the growing Free Olkari who have escaped capture by the forces of Zarkon who were allowed to conquer the planet by their original king Lubos selling them out in exchange for his own safety. Ryner helped move her people where they started a brand new civilization with their technology based around nature. Even their tree houses are highly advanced and look like buildings. Ryner is one who Pidge hopes can help unlock more of Green Lion.

4) GLADIATOR VOLTRON FORCE - Consisting of Diego - pilot of the Black Alpha of Wisdom, Jacoby - pilot of the Blue Beta of Courage, and last but not least Alexis - pilot of the Red Gamma of Compassion; all three of which are three freshman high school students who now comprise the Gladiator Voltron Force who attend Aoba High School on the planet Albega in the Hyperion Galaxy. Having saved their home planet from the scourge of the One Empire of the Derinja, the three are riding high at the top of their game - with their future and even potential careers in the Galaxy Alliance secure with pre-enrollment to Galaxy Alliance Academy. But now, they must help the Alliance again to battle the Omega Comet.

5) PLAXUM OF POSEIDRUS ♀ - Species: Poseidran. Homeworld: Poseidrus. Eye Color: Silver. Hair Color: Aquamarine. Energetic and rather playful while trying to undertake a solemn role, Plaxum is the princess of the Poseidrans, a race of mermen and mermaids in the Denubian Galaxy who, without realizing it, have been under the control of one of King Zarkon's robeasts known as the Baku, a gigantic sea worm serpent disguising itself as a plant-like monster indigenous to Poseidrus. It is Plaxum who helps Lance decipher the language of the Baku - the language being exactly the same as the sounds of the Omega Comet which threatens all the worlds of the Galaxy Alliance and unlocks more of Blue Lion.

6) LION VOLTRON FORCE - Consisting of Princess Allura of Arus - paladin of the Black Lion of Sky, Keith - paladin of the Red Lion of Fire, Hunk - paladin of the Yellow Lion of Land, Lance - paladin of the Blue Lion of Water, and Pidge - paladin of the Green Lion of Forest; all five of which make up the Lion Voltron Force tasked with protecting planet Arus and all other innocent worlds in the Denubian Galaxy from the evil of King Zarkon. Keith, Lance, Pidge and Hunk now consider Arus to be their home ever since Zarkon caused their old Alliance space colony of Olympus to destroy itself in thermonuclear war. As an Alliance member world, Arus must now send its Voltron to end the threat of the Omega Comet.

7) SLAV OF THEBUS ♂ - Species: Theban. Homeworld: Thebus. Eye Color: White with Black Pupils. A short creature with eight arms and a yellow beak, Slav is a renown scientist being held captive in Zarkon's Space Station of Beta Traz, as its only prisoner. Slav's main concern is his survival in any "alternate realities" he believes and does anything to increase his chances. However, this makes him fearful of nearly everything from him drowning from a puddle to breaking an alternate reality of his mother's back if he steps on a crack. His cowardice and antics nearly puts his rescue mission in jeopardy and even riles up the normally cool-headed Allura. However, he does have moments of extreme courage.

Long ago in the ancient history of the planet Altea (nowadays known as Arus) in the Denubian Galaxy, a giant asteroid was created by the Big Bang at the beginning of history that somehow generated levels of gravity equivalent to those found in stellar black holes. Such levels would be enough to tear a planet or star apart, but due to some force, the comet itself would remain completely intact. This planetoid was left to become a rogue - shooting through the cosmos at speeds matching those of the Galaxy Alliance's fastest heavy exploration and or battle cruisers. Once in a generation, it would pass through the Denubian Galaxy (the Alliance's Far Universe) and shoot close to Arus like a vulture to dead carrion. 

Due to the destructive powers of the comet's gravity, it was said by the ancient Alteans to be a bad omen for the generations of people it would appear to. Once in an eon (a period of exactly ten thousand years) or so, dark forces and civilizations would pour their magical, technological and scientific knowledge into creating ways to capture this Omega Comet and control its power to use as they saw fit to cause devastation to any civilizations that could either threaten or oppose them. So far, almost all attempts to bring the Comet under any space-faring race's control have been complete failures. The Comet cannot be reasoned or bargained with; for it cannot feel any pity, remorse, pain or fear of anything.

In this four-quadrant five-act mecha epic of science fiction and fantasy, the three approaches to Voltron come together to battle a dreaded force that has an insatiable appetite for destruction and shoots right through anything in its way. The Asimovian science fiction of Vehicle Voltron, the urban adventure of Gladiator Voltron, and the mythic space fantasy of Lion Voltron must pour their combined strengths into one force to come out on top now. The Omega Comet appears to be a natural foe like the asteroid in Armageddon, but has the destructive power of the Death Star in Star Wars, the dread factor of the Cthulhu mythos, and the implacable killer nature of the Terminators from The Terminator.

An urgent message from the Galaxy Alliance Headquarters on Earth summons the Lion and Gladiator Voltron forces to rendezvous with Vehicle Voltron Force and the G.A.S. Explorer/Rugger Guard on the next course of action in the war against the might of the Drule Empire and its member worlds of Drule (Galveston), Doom (Galra) and Deram. Zarkon has sent his son Prince Lotor Sincline and his retainer Captain Mogor Gobra to assemble an army of robeasts to pilot the Omega Comet: an immense rogue planetoid capable of generating a gravitational field strong enough to rip every planet and star in the Galaxy Alliance apart in minutes, and maybe cause the destruction of the Voltrons as well.

Aside from more human concerns (Man vs. Self) and the ever-looming threat of the Omega Comet (Man vs. Nature), the Voltron Forces will now have to contend with a few new faces allied with the Drule Empire who are looking to either partake in or profit off the plot by the Drule High Command - Emperor Zeppo Corsair, Emperor Az'A and Emperor Zarkon Daibazaal - to construct a matrix of a battle station that will be strong enough to effectively control the Omega Comet and harness its destructive power to destroy the major worlds of the Galaxy Alliance or any force who could stand in their way of conquering the stars. Among them are aides of Lotor and Zarkon, and a pair of nasty space pirates.

1) QUEEQUEG ♂ - Species: Tarantian. Homeworld: Tarantor. Eye Color: Black. Referred to as "The Uncanny One" by his fellow space pirates and bounty hunters, Queequeg is renown for his ability to discover hidden quarry. His tracking skills derived both from his training as a soldier and from his innate telepathic abilities, which allows him to sense individuals at range and decipher the motives of his prey. In spite of his skills and craftiness which make him a prime contractor for when Zarkon and or Lotor have dirty work for them to do, he will not appreciate being simply a menial errand boy for the Drule Empire's command. This may make him a threat to both the Galaxy Alliance and the Drule Empire.

2) IGOR ♂ - Species: Galran-built Humanoid Robot. Homeworld: Galra (Planet Doom). Eye Color: Red. His full title is the abbreviated form of Ideal Galran Operations Robot. Originally built as an aide-de-camp and elite bodyguard to King Zarkon Daibazaal and his son Prince Lotor Sincline, he has evolved into his own machine and ready to take on whatever comes his way. It is said he is the Omega Comet made manifest as a humanoid being. He cannot be reasoned with; he cannot be bargained with; he feels neither pity nor remorse nor pain nor fear for or of those he destroys and kills. Needless to say, this does not preclude the possibility of him having a few screws loose that could be exploited.

3) LAFITTE ♀ - Species: Tarantian. Homeworld: Tarantor. Eye Color: Black. The sister of Queequeg, her greed rivals that of her brother's - but is outweighed by her trying to be the sensible one who reins in Queequeg's nastier tendencies that could blow a regular job for Zarkon wide open and sic the Alliance on the Drule Empire. Even so, Lafitte is ruthless toward her bounties, viewing them explicitly as marks who, in her opinion, probably deserve their fates in any case. She is confident - at times overly confident - in her abilities and will not tolerate or appreciate being underestimated. The thrill of the hunt and their telepathic abilities are qualities they both share, which make them an asset to Zarkon.

4) KARP ♂ - Species: Galran Drule. Homeworld: Galra (Planet Doom). Eye Color: Yellow. Hair Color: Silver. His full title that he himself has chosen is Governor General Karp Reggar of the Galran Drules. Karp is best described as the cockiest and most egotistical ace star pilot to be recruited by Lotor and Haggar. Although given Robeasts to pilot, he retained his smug attitude by demanding that his own Robeast be painted red to match his trademark color. He intends to wreak considerable havoc on Arus and several other planets across the Denubian Galaxy. But for now, he is chosen by King Zarkon to aid Keezor in capturing and harnessing the Omega Comet to destroy the planets of the Galaxy Alliance.

5) KEEZOR ♂ - Age: Late 30s/Early 40s. Species: Galvestonian Drule. Homeworld: Galveston (Drule Homeworld). Eye Color: Red. Hair Color: White. His full title is Command Marshall Luciano Keezor of the Galvestonian Drules. Keezor's personality is a bizarre mixture between that of a formal officer/gentleman and a ruthless criminal. He emits charm and speaks calmly even in the middle of committing the most heinous and unspeakable atrocities. Despite working with Robeasts, he has no respect for them or soldiers in general. He will often talk to or about them in derogatory fashions, referring to them as "mutts" or "animals". It is often him acting out his frustrations towards having to work with them.

Each member of the Voltrons' super forces of space explorers is reflective of aspects of ourselves that we all have been at some point in our lives - the class clown, the lone wolf, the young genius, the tough guy who is also a mediator, and that young person destined for life greater than their backyard. But the events of the previous films have psychological consequences. Keith of the Lion Voltron Force will be grappling with survivor's guilt over his friend Sven, and both Pidge and Chip will have to set their parents' final affairs in order with the destruction of Olympus that began with Zarkon's attack on it. Only through channeling their emotions towards the Omega Comet can they hope to defeat it.

    1) From days of long ago, from uncharted regions of the Universe, comes a legend. The legend of Voltrons: Defenders of the Universe. Three mighty robots, loved by good, feared by evil. As the Voltrons' legend grew, peace settled across the galaxies. On Planet Earth, a Galaxy Alliance was formed. Together with the good planets of our Solar System, they maintained peace throughout the Universe until a new, horrible menace threatened the galaxies. The Voltrons were needed once more. This is the story of the three super forces of space explorers. Specially trained, entrusted and sent by the Alliance worlds with the ancient secrets of how to assemble and bring back, the Voltrons, Defenders of the Universe.

    2) We open on a rogue planetoid hurtling through space as a fleet Galran Skull Ships pursues it and fires a series of transmitter probes onto the Omega Comet which then follows the orders of the lead Skull Ship.  Another Galran Drule Skull Ship arrives at the space station Beta Traz in the Onyxian Nebula of the Denubian Galaxy, the primary branch of the Galaxy Alliance's Far Universe jurisdiction. It is here that King Zarkon Daibazaal of Galra (Planet Doom) is meeting with the other two emperors of the Drule Empire - Zeppo Corsair of Galveston (Drule Homeworld) in the Milky Way Galaxy, and Az'A of Deram in the Hyperion Galaxy. They discuss how to harness the Comet to destroy the Galaxy Alliance.

    3) It is a calm sunny day on Planet Arus in the Denubian Galaxy as the Lion Voltron Force is taking a little break vacationing on the lake near the Castle of Lions. After diving into the lake, Princess Allura Fala swims back to shore as she referees a diving contest between Keith Kogane, Lance McClain, Tsuyoshi "Hunk" Garrett and Darrell "Pidge" Stoker. Once that is done, Coran and Nanny Hys arrive ready to swim as well. Hunk and Pidge take Coran down snorkeling and fishing in the lake, Keith and Lance continue practicing their diving, while Allura begins teaching Nanny how to surf as the waves are generated by Blue Lion. Suddenly, emergency alert klaxons summon them to return to launch Lion Voltron.

    4) The winter holiday (which includes Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Year's) vacation for planet Albega cannot come fast enough for the three young pilots of the Gladiator Voltron Force. At Aoba Central High School, Alexis Hotaru Mizuki Vekoma finishes up tennis practice to hit the showers before changing clothes to meet with her friends and teammates Diego Daisaku Enjoji Rodriguez and Jacoby Tetsuya Jin Scott for lunch break which will give them time to get some homework knocked out on the field playgrounds. Just then, school announcements summon them to the principal's office, who relays that the three are to report for urgent business on Earth to launch the Gladiator Voltron.

    5) In the meantime, the Vehicle Voltron Force has already been tracking the Omega Comet and the Drule forces hoping to capture and use it for their own evil purposes. The Galaxy Alliance Starship Explorer/Rugger Guard and its fleet of support ships are racing across space through hyperskip back home as fast as their engines can take them. Captain Richard "Dick" Asimov Newley and Commander James Shinji Ise Hawkins are in a conference with the three Vehicle Voltron Force team leaders - Jeff Aki Manabu of the Air-Strato Fighter Team, Krik Miranda Keats of the Sea-Aqua Fighter Team, and Walter Cliff Jack of the Land-Turbo Terrain Fighter Team. They confer with Diego and Allura by hologram.

    6) At Earth, the Explorer/Rugger Guard is flanked by the Gladiators of Gladiator Voltron on her port side and the Lions of Lion Voltron on her starboard side as she launches the Vehicles of Vehicle Voltron and sets down in Tokyo Bay just outside Galaxy Garrison. Old friends like Lance to Wolo and Cliff, Hunk to Rocky, and Keith to Jeff reunite while Pidge delivers the bad news about Olympus and their parents to his brother Chip. Allura comes to help Alexis get acquainted with Patricia Ginger Ellington, Lisa Haruka Kaga and Cinda Moya Qiligasz as they hurry to be briefed on their mission. In the Grand Chamber, top brass of the Alliance tasks the Voltron forces to find and obliterate the Omega Comet.

    7) As they return to the Explorer with the Vehicle and Lion Voltron Forces, Diego, Jacoby and Alexis of the Gladiator Voltron Force are lost in thought about the Omega Comet's current trajectory. Jeff, Krik and Cliff notice that the Comet has slowed its flight somehow, as if some force has grabbed hold of it. Keith concludes that the top brass of the Drule Empire - Zeppo, Az'A and Zarkon - must have a form of control station inexplicably being constructed on it. If that is the case, essential worlds of the Alliance starting with Centuria, continuing onward to Balmera, Olkarion, Poseidrus and Thebus will be in the Drules' line of sight with the Comet. But there is also some force going on at Beta Traz Point.

    8) Newley and Hawkins order the Lion Voltron Force to launch for planets Centuria, Balmera, Olkarion, Poseidrus and Thebus to warn all the local populations to evacuate as safely but expediently as they can and to aid in the evacuation. Vehicle and Gladiator Voltron Forces need to provide cover for the Explorer as they continue the hunt for the Omega Comet. In the meantime, Zarkon's witch Haggar Yoba Honerva and son Prince Lotor Sincline arrive at Beta Traz with fresh prisoners and one of their best pilots - Karp Reggar. Emperor Zeppo orders that his own aide will join Karp in piloting and defending the Omega Comet from Alliance interference - Luciano Keezor. They still must prepare for the attack.

    9) Emerging from hyperskip, Lance and Blue Lion begin entering the upper atmosphere of Poseidrus during an ion storm. Forced to go on reserve power for a while, Lance takes Blue Lion into the ocean to recharge its infrared energy cell batteries (infracells) with the basis of Blue Lion's power - water. Just then, he sees a sea serpent Robeast called Baku attacking the native Poseidran merpeople. Using the freeze energy feature of Blue Lion, Lance puts Baku out of commission. Just then, a Poseidran mermaid calls to Lance and Blue Lion to congratulate them for freeing Poseidrus from the Baku. Her name is Plaxum, and she takes Lance back to the Royal Palace to confer on both the Baku and the Comet.

    10) In the meantime, the Explorer and its fleet have caught up with the Omega Comet and is trailing it just outside Drule scanner range to avoid any undue attention coming their way. Viewing via tele-scanners a matrix of Drule control stations that confirm Keith's very skeptical hypothesis, Hawkins knows that the Drule Empire is now able to control the Comet. Newley orders the Gladiator and Vehicle Voltron Forces to launch and destroy the control stations. Aboard the Omega Comet, Karp and Keezor meet with the robot operative sent by King Zarkon to help them oversee all aspects of Omega Comet operations - Igor. Even being in his presence unnerves both as they plan to attack planet Centuria.

    11) Pidge and Green Lion arrive in the Olkarion system where they notice a Galran skull ship is docked at the Royal Palace. Fearing that King Lubos is being held hostage, the two sneak down to the Palace atrium where Pidge fires on all the Ultra Black Corps guards to clear a path for him to get to Lubos. Unfortunately, when he presents himself as the savior of the King, Pidge finds that Lubos has sided with the Galran Drules and holds him at gunpoint. Just then, Green Lion roars and knocks Lubos off his feet and down a ledge to his death. Pidge is in for a surprise when he finds just who is piloting Green Lion - Lady Ryner. She helps Pidge aboard as they set off back for Ryner's village to warn the Olkari.

    12) Drule Stinger Fighters are closing for an attack on the Explorer and its support fleet, so Ginger, Lisa and Cinda lead the rest of their own Vehicle Voltron Force in scrambling the Strato, Aqua and Turbo Terrain Fighters to enter the dogfight to protect their home ship. Breaking the encrypted Galran intelligence that Zarkon's best pilot Karp Reggar and his Red Raptor Robeast are on course for Centuria ahead of the Comet and with Keith and Red Lion already bound for the planet, the Gladiator Voltron Force of Alexis, Diego and Jacoby relays word of it to Professor Vekoma and Hawkins to warn Keith. They scramble Black Alpha, Blue Beta and Red Gamma to enter emergency hyperskip for planet Centuria.

    13) With all the chaos going on, Allura and Black Lion manage to sneak into the Thebus system undetected. A fleet of Galran skull ships is just ready to depart orbit of the planet when they come under attack by a barrage of Shoulder Beam Cannon and Fang Missile fire. Allura and Black Lion slice through the fleet with its dual-bladed Mouth Dagger to cause chain reactions before they head down to the surface to assess the situation. Little do they know that Queequeg and Lafitte the space pirates have followed them here. They then put out a set of coordinates to transmit to Beta Traz - current location of the Drule top brass. Az'A and Zarkon order the sibling pirates to follow the Lion at a safe distance.

    14) With all of the prisoner Slav's refusal to give up the secrets of the planet's defenses compounded by his own OCD enough to rile Zarkon up, the Galran Drule King orders Slav be ejected out into a hyperskip escape pod to die with Thebus. Crashing out of hyperskip into Black Lion, Allura and Slav crash on the planet surface. While they make repairs to Black Lion along the way, Allura and Slav set out for the Theban capital city to bring the planetary defenses online. Slav's paranoia is starting to stretch Allura's temper to her wits' end, but Hunk and Coran have a time trying to convince Shay and Rax of Balmera to load a crystal onto Yellow Lion. Rax's concern for their world is enough to sway him.

    15) Alexis, Diego and Jacoby confirm via subspace to Rocky, Shannon, Marvin and Hutch that they have arrived in the Centuria system right behind Keith in Red Lion and ahead of Karp and his Red Raptor. The arrival of four robots of Voltron has amassed a crowd as Keith tries his best to address the Centurans around them that they must prepare for evacuation in case Voltron fails to stop the Omega Comet from wiping the planet out. As a compromise, the High Sultan decrees that most of the adult males stay with one quarter of the women, but three quarters of the women and all the children will leave aboard their transport starships until the threat has passed. The Voltron pilots must assist them.

    16) Keith, Pidge, Lance and Hunk report to Allura and the Explorer crew that evacuations of Poseidrus, Olkarion and Centuria have begun in earnest and the Omega Comet will entering the system soon. Shay and Coran have the crystal. Allura and Black Lion must hurry the freaked Slav back to the capital across a desert when three Galran Drule Robeasts - Drazil, Myzax and Prorok - come down to slow the Black Lion's progress and take Allura. Choosing to sacrifice himself for Allura instead of saving his own hide, Slav bails out and begins to distract the three Robeasts so that Allura can get in some shots to fling them back up into space until the Theban capital welcomes Allura and Slav into the city.

    17) Bringing the planetary defenses online to cover an evacuation of the Thebans in anticipation of the Comet, Allura and Black Lion depart for Centuria as Queequeg and Lafitte - the ones who sicced the Robeasts they are now recovering on Black Lion - prepare to follow them to the planet where the Omega Comet will make its first power move. Keith arrives in Red Lion with the three kids of Gladiator Voltron Force behind him; followed by Lance, Pidge, Hunk, the Vehicle Voltron Force, the Explorer and her fleet, and Allura brings up the rear to take up defensive positions around Centuria to cover the evacuation ships. Vehicle Voltron forms followed by Gladiator and Lion as Karp and his Robeast enter.

    18) Karp and his Robeast engage in a fierce battle with the Explorer and the three Voltron forces, with him being slightly quicker than they had ever anticipated him to be - all as the Centurans look up at the skies in horror. The Voltron forces can only watch helplessly as the Omega Comet plows into planet Centuria, drawing matter from the planet's crust into it, until the gravitational forces cause a chain reaction that erupts across the planet to destroy it in a mighty blast. Satisfied with the results of the Omega Comet's power, Karp is ordered by Lotor to capture the Voltrons and return the Comet with them in tow to the vicinity of Beta Traz in the Onyxian Nebula near the Pegasus supermassive black hole. 

    19) Keezor berates Karp for stalling over subspace as the Red Raptor returns through a safe passage into the Omega Comet's matrix hangar bay to activate the three tractor beams to draw Vehicle, Gladiator and Lion Voltron Forces towards the Omega Comet to be crushed by its very overwhelming gravitational field. Vehicle and Lion Voltrons take a suggestion for Gladiator Voltron to try firing Ion Darts, Proton Missiles, Eye Beams and Lion Torches at the tractor beam emitter tower, but they prove to be useless. Newley, Page and Hawkins can only watch helplessly from the Explorer as the Omega Comet departs the now destroyed Centuria system for the Onyxian Nebula with the three Voltrons in tow.

    20) Slav and Lady Ryner come onto the bridge of the Explorer in hopes of delivering good news to Newley. The Omega Comet is heading for the Pegasus supermassive black hole in the Denubian Galaxy. If the Voltron forces could only get enough power to infiltrate and destroy its control station at just the proper time, the Comet will plunge into the singularity to be torn apart and a hyperskip engine core being dropped into the singularity would destroy them both. It would appear to be the end curtain for the Voltron teams, as Keith is close to breaking down in tears and mentally apologizing to Sven that he could not be as good as if not better than Sven as leader of the Lion Voltron Force than him.

    21) When it appears that the gravity of the Omega Comet may just have become the final resting places of the Voltron forces, three highly faint visages appear before them - the goddesses Arcadia, Rhea and Denubia. Three must go into the control station matrix built by the Drules to control the Comet and destroy it at the proper time to free the Voltrons, and the three goddesses show three pilots the way. As Wolo, Modok and Zandee begin a thruster suit EVA (extravehicular activity) to get inside the safe control center of the Omega Comet, Keezor and Karp order Igor to prepare the Comet to be launched on a course for Balmera, Olkarion, Poseidrus, Thebus and finally Earth - home of the Galaxy Alliance.

    22) Queequeg, Lafitte, Karp and Keezor are about to enjoy some Onyxian bloodwine being served to them by Igor when a silent alarm goes off across the Omega Comet control station matrix. Three pilots from the Vehicle Voltron Force have narrowly managed surviving an EVA over the surface of the Omega Comet and have entered the normal gravity zone of the compound. Shooting out the security cameras and sensor systems, the three pilots begin planting explosive charges designed to destroy the control matrix when it is closing on the black hole of Pegasus in the Denubian Galaxy. The Gladiator and Lion Voltron Forces have to give the three saboteurs range and rate of opening readings throughout.

    23) Commander Hawkins and Captain Newley aboard the Explorer worry while Professor Page tries to keep their stress down and their spirits for their teams up as the Explorer and her support fleet close in on the Omega Comet and what will ultimately be its final destination. As the explosives begin to go off just as the Comet is staring down towards the black hole, Igor goes with Keezor and Karp to head off the escaping Voltron pilots while Queequeg and Lafitte wisely take the only high-powered escape pods out and away. It is now a battle to get to the airlock as Zandee, Modok and Wolo manage to finish off Karp and Keezor and grapple with Igor as the Comet loosens its grip on the three Voltrons.

    24) Wolo, Modok and Zandee notice that the Omega Comet is careening closer to the black hole, so they strap themselves down and eject Igor out into space to fall towards the hole. They rush back to Vehicle Voltron as they continue towards the singularity. Timing it just right, the three Voltron forces shake themselves off the Comet just in time to send it hurtling into the Pegasus black hole singularity in which the mutual gravitational forces of both would tear the Comet apart. Ejecting a failed hyperskip engine core into the growing singularity, the Explorer is able to collapse both the black hole and the Comet in one shot. They now turn their attention to the few Robeasts called back to Beta Traz station.

    25) Zarkon orders Az'A and Zeppo to retreat with him to his private skull ship and escape while they still can. Drazil, Myzax and Prorok - the three surviving Robeasts - stand guard to prevent the Voltron forces from taking Beta Traz. For a brief moment, Drazil enters grapple lock with Lion Voltron to try and fire a beam of powerful energy into it that would create intense and relentless amounts of mental trauma in the Lion Voltron Paladins to render them helpless and kill them. Only the Explorer and its support fleet can help the Gladiator and Vehicle Voltron forces out to stop Drazil and distract the other two. Now free, Lion Voltron leads the other two in a triple Blazing Sword attack to kill the Robeasts.

    26) The Explorer and the three Voltrons return to Galaxy Garrison on Earth for a final debriefing on the mission. Although the Chancellor of the Galaxy Alliance is quick to offer congratulations and thanks from all the worlds of the Alliance to the Voltron Force, Keith cannot help but feel torn up that Sven was not there to see the destruction of the Omega Comet (in the Japanese version, Sven or Takashi was laid to rest after having actually been killed). Chip and Pidge try to distract from paying final respects to their parents by suggesting that both the Vehicle and Gladiator Voltron Forces be rewarded with a free vacation to Arus. Even so, they will have to be vigilant and ready for the Drules' next evil plan.

    27) Even with the destruction of the Omega Comet, the determination of the forces of the Drule Empire in the three major galaxies of the Galaxy Alliance to destroy the Alliance and its defenders in Voltron has only increased. Having reviewed intelligence gathered by one of Prince Lotor Sincline's expeditions has uncovered an evil counterpart of Lion Voltron from the Mirror Dimension - Dracotron. Again, the three Voltron Forces will have to unite and fight together to battle the Drule Empire and prevent their uncovering the resting place of the five Dragons that form Dracotron to threaten the Galaxy Alliance. New friends and family will meet, old ones will reunite, and the torch of Green Lion will pass...
